PERSONAL TRAINING
& STRENGTH COACHING
HAMMERSMITH
The HAMMERSMITH studio
Sessions in Hammersmith run from Revival PT Studio on Albion Mews, tucked under the railway arches a couple of minutes from Ravenscourt Park.
It's a studio built for personal trainers and their clients - capacity controlled, so the rack you planned to use is the rack you get. No membership required, no contract, nothing to join. You train with me; that's the whole arrangement.
studio EQUIPMENT
Two large training spaces, and the equipment list is genuinely deep:
Power racks and lifting platforms
15kg and 20kg Olympic bars and full plate loading
A 15-metre sled track on turf
Full dumbbell and kettlebell range
Cable machines
Rowing erg, ski erg, assault bikes and a curved treadmill
Getting here
Ravenscourt Park (District line) is the closest station, eight minutes on foot. Hammersmith is about ten minutes' walk if you're coming in on the Piccadilly, Circle or Hammersmith & City lines. There's also an area with a bike rack to lock up your bike right outside.
Parking: Paid parking available on side streets near the building, limited free parking available to rear of studio.
When I'm in HAMMERSMITH
Hammersmith covers the hours Chiswick can't:
Early mornings
Evenings
Weekends
If daytime suits you better, Chiswick runs 09:00–16:30 from Forge Society Members Club, five minutes down the road.
Who trains WITH ME here?
The Hammersmith sessions tend to attract three groups.
People fitting training around a full working day. The early and late slots exist for exactly this: train at 6:30am and still make your first meeting, or come straight from the office in the evening.
Athletes and sportspeople working towards a season, a selection or a return to competition.
People rebuilding after injury, and people referred by clinicians. Several clients here arrive after being cleared by a physio or consultant, at the point where the instruction changes from "rest" to "build strength" and nobody has explained what that means in practice.

CLIENT STORY
Julian is a keen cyclist who rides tours, and his back had been giving him real grief. Once he'd been cleared medically, he was referred to me to build strength rather than keep managing the pain.
We worked on the imbalances underneath it and built general strength around them. The back settled, and more to the point he got back to riding properly - holding the pace with riders half his age rather than sitting up at the back.
“Paul is a brilliant coach. He listens, guides, and plans fun sessions which have greatly improved my strength and conditioning. I really enjoyed his sessions and always looked forward to the next one. Greatly recommended”

No. There's no membership and no contract. You train as my client and that's the whole arrangement.

Albion Mews, under the railway arches, two or three minutes from Ravenscourt Park station.

There are changing facilities, yes. The showers are in the archway Revival's classes also use, so they can be awkward at busy times - worth planning to shower at home or at work rather than counting on them here.
-
Trainers you can move in, something you can move freely in, and a water bottle. That's it.
-
Then Chiswick is the answer. Forge Society Members Club covers 09:00–16:30 on Chiswick High Road, with a coffee shop and workspace on site.
