Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others tell me how the site is being used. You get a choice about the second kind.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks what you're happy with. You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies for coachpwr.com in your browser settings, then reloading the site so the banner reappears.
Refusing optional cookies doesn't break anything. Every page, the contact form and the booking process work exactly the same.
What this site uses
Strictly necessary: no consent needed
These keep the site working and secure, and can't be switched off.
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
crumb | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery |
ss_cookieAllowed | Remembers your cookie choice so you aren't asked repeatedly |
SiteUserInfo, SiteUserSecureAuthToken | Keeps you logged in, if the site has a client login area |
| Session and cart cookies | Hold your place while you're using a form or buying a gift card |
Statistical: used only to improve this site
| Cookie | What it does |
|---|---|
ss_cid, ss_cvr, ss_cvt | Squarespace's own analytics: visitor counts, which pages get read, how people move through the site |
UK law changed on 5 February 2026. First-party analytics used purely to improve a website no longer require consent, provided you're told clearly and can object easily, which is what this section is for. This data isn't used for advertising and isn't shared with anyone for their own purposes. If you'd rather not be counted, decline optional cookies in the banner and I'll exclude you.
Analytics and session recording: only if you agree
I use Microsoft Clarity to understand how this site is actually used. Clarity does two things beyond counting visits:
- Heatmaps: aggregated pictures of where people click and how far down a page they read.
- Session recordings: a replay of a visit, showing mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and which pages you moved between.
I use these to work out which parts of the site are confusing, not to identify anyone. A recording shows an anonymous visit, not a named person.
What recordings do not capture. Clarity is configured to mask text typed into form fields, so a recording doesn't show what you write in the contact form. It doesn't record your camera, microphone, or anything outside this website, and it doesn't capture other tabs or windows.
Clarity sends data to Microsoft, which processes it in the United States. Microsoft also uses some of these cookies for its own advertising and operational purposes across its services. That's exactly why they need your consent, rather than being covered by the analytics exemption above.
| Cookie | What it does | Set by |
|---|---|---|
_clck | Stores a Clarity user ID for this site, so repeat visits are recognised | This site |
_clsk | Joins several page views into a single session recording | This site |
CLID | Records the first time Clarity saw this browser on any site using Clarity | Microsoft |
MUID | Identifies a browser across Microsoft sites. Used for advertising, analytics and operational purposes | Microsoft |
SM | Synchronises MUID across Microsoft domains | Microsoft |
MR | Indicates whether MUID should be refreshed | Microsoft |
ANONCHK | Indicates whether MUID is passed to an advertising cookie. Clarity doesn't do this, so it's always set to 0 | Microsoft |
None of these are set unless you accept optional cookies. If you decline, or simply don't answer the banner, Clarity records nothing and sets no cookies.
You can also opt out of Clarity across every site that uses it, independently of this one, through Microsoft's own opt-out at choice.microsoft.com.
Embedded content
Some pages include a Google Map. Google sets its own cookies once the map loads, and Google's own privacy policy applies to those.
